Winding along the northern shore of the Caloosahatchee River, the Moore Haven Riverwalk – originally built in 1918 – is a pleasant way to experience downtown Moore Haven.
Starting at the Lone Cypress Tree, the linear park meanders west along the river past the Riverhouse Marina docks and a series of covered picnic benches, turning into an aquamarine-colored walkway that meanders along the low, grassy bluff through a riverfront residential district. It’s a popular place for friends to meet for a short, breezy walk or to take a dog on a stroll.
Parking is available along the street near City Hall.
