Alvin L. Ward Senior Park offers access to Lake Okeechobee just outside downtown Moore Haven. There is a boat ramp, bank and pier fishing, picnic shelters with tables and grills, water, restrooms, plenty of parking for RVs and boats, and a play area. Hiking the Florida Trail or just "getting L.O.S.T." on this section of paved Lake Okeechobee Scenic Trail? You'll find plenty of trailhead parking for the walk to Liberty Point and Clewiston.

Directions: From the south side of the Caloosahatchee River Bridge along US 27 in Moore Haven, take Daniels Rd SE (exit just before the bridge heading northbound) to the Herbert Hoover Dike.
